I’m glad you said this. We are soft here in America. But 2020 woke many of us from our entertained stupor. If we don’t teach our kids about the evils, then society will take them in and fool them at every turn.
Good old Pilgrims Progress is also a great bedrock for this sort of thing- especially in America and we have constant seemingly subtle attacks on our faith and walk with God. Teaches all of us to be aware of the devil in many disguises. Also Screwtape Letters.
This is intriguing. I have three boys and want to read more stories like this. What book would you recommend to start with with this genre? Thank you for your work!
“There’s some good in this world, Mr Frodo, and it’s worth fighting for.”
We definitely need to read more to our children and this is another great example of why.
Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Oh, I love that quote!

Yes and Amen! Live Not by Lies is one of my favorite books. I found it in 2021 and it opened my eyes in such a profound way!

I think I need to put together a post about this! Some recommendations would be helpful, wouldn't they?
The Wingfeather Saga and The Green Ember series are both great, I think!
Excellent.
