A Cybertruck explosion, a nation on edge, and a warning

Only four days into 2025, and we’ve already watched a terrorist attack in Lousiana, Democrats calling for Bird Flu vaccine funding, a snowstorm set to hit dozens of states this weekend, an announcement of Trump’s sentencing before the Inauguration, and Biden giving George Soros and Hilary Clinton the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Oh, and a Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump Hotel on New Year's Day,

It feels like a new panic has been born. Does it feel that way to you?

That moment in November when people took a giant sigh of relief when their guy was elected has disappeared. It’s becoming increasingly clear (to anyone who still might believe it) that one politician can’t solve the world’s problems. Each day, I see someone posting, “January 20th can’t come soon enough,” and I get it - Trump’s administration will be far superior to whatever mess a Harris presidency would have left us in. BUT. We mustn’t lull ourselves into a false sense of security and think this national turmoil is going to POOF DISAPPEAR come to Inauguration Day. Americans are used to craziness. We have become familiar with bizarre and unsettling stories of death, tragedy, war, and horror. So, why has the Cybertruck explosion hit such a nerve?

I think I’ve figured that out.
