It’s “Stir-Up Sunday!”

Well, the Sunday before Advent has actually been celebrated as both “Christ The King” (universally in liturgical churches) AND “Stir-Up Sunday,” which was a tradition that began long before.

“Stir-Up Sunday” comes from the opening words of the day's collect in the Book of Common Prayer of 1549 (and all subsequent editions).
